Inhale

It’s a beautiful Saturday morning. The sun is shining and it’s not overly hot for August in Texas. Just the kind of day to get lots done!

On the surface, “all systems normal”. Sammy and I went for a nice walk. She was suspiciously eyeing a squirrel that was chattering at her from a notch in a tree, but Sammy was mannerly and did not bark. In fact, she rather had a look of disdain. Paltry squirrel!

It’s funny how one goes through the days and builds a pattern that works. Then, something comes along and really shakes the tree. This morning I realize I do not have a robe. I guess it may be a necessary part of the uniform if I’m to go in the hospital. So, I’ll be off to the store to see if I can find something.

I’m really glad I don’t have days or weeks to wait to get the show on the road. Monday seems near and far at the same time.

God, please give me wisdom.
